FIELD: biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for feeding polar bear cubs by using a milk mixture diluted with goat milk to provide sufficient fat content of the feeding mixture; using fish oil to increase fatty content of the mixture and as a vitamin additive; including meat (mince) – at age of 80 days, fish – at age of 90 days, bread, mush and vegetables – at age of 100 days.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to successfully bear cubs, at the same time they did not have significant health problems, and physical development and development of behavior was comparable to those of natural-born calf.
