FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatrics, and can be used in diet therapy in young infants with heart diseases complicated by congestive heart failure (CHF). Method includes infant nutrition with expressed breast milk in a volume from 500 to 700 ml, enriched with a dry adapted milk formula Nutrilak Premium 1. For this, the daily energy requirement is determined by the formula: E = W × 120 kcal/kg, where E is the daily energy requirement (kcal/day), W is the weight of the child (kg), 120 kcal/kg is the daily energy requirement per 1 kg of body weight. Then the volume of breast milk is determined to meet the energy requirement according to the formula: V = E / 66 × 100, where V is the volume of breast milk (ml), E is the daily energy requirement (kcal/day), 66 kcal is the energy value of 100 ml of breast milk. Caloric content of breast milk to meet energy needs is calculated by the formula: C = E × 100 / Lv, where C is the caloric content of breast milk (kcal / 100 ml), E is the daily energy requirement (kcal/day), Lv is the limited volume of breast milk. Enrichment of breast milk is carried out gradually, increasing the caloric intake depending on the child's need and the forced limitation of the daily volume of consumed liquid nutrition from 80 to 100 kcal / 100 ml as follows: in each serving of expressed breast milk, the amount of dry mixture Nutrilak Premium 1 calculated for the child is added. If necessary, the maximum energy density of liquid nutrition is 100 kcal / 100 ml. Increase in caloric content is carried out gradually during 3 days: on the first day up to 80 kcal / 100 ml, on the second day of feeding up to 90 kcal / 100 ml, on the third day of feeding up to 100 kcal / 100 ml, the volume of one feeding is from 60 to 100 ml with a feeding frequency from 7 to 10 times a day.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to satisfy the daily calorie and protein requirement in young infants with heart diseases complicated by congestive heart failure, in the conditions of limitation of the daily volume of consumed liquid, to preserve breastfeeding and adapt the medical children's diet.
