FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrocautery water treatment methods and can be used in water treatment in municipal, individual and industrial conditions. Method of electrochemical purification of water includes electrocoagulation with electrodes from stainless steel with preliminary galvanically applied coating with thickness of 0.2 mm. Performing subsequent filtration on the cascade of sorbents selected from natural or artificial cellulose, white quartzite and quartz sand with 0.2 mm grain, a surface-modified encapsulated silica-based anion exchanger with a grafted quaternary ammonium group with methyl-, ethyl-, methylethoxy-substitutes with pores of 50 nm, and a cation-exchanger with grafted silica gel matrix carboxyl groups with pores of 40 nm. Electrocoagulation process is carried out in a two-layer gel-polyelectrolyte matrix containing a layer of silica gel and a mixture of polyethylene glycol, its alkyl derivatives obtained as a result of SN-alkylation of potassium alcoholates of aliphatic alcohols with haloalkyls at station: 1,2-diallyloxyethane, 1,2-diallyloxyethanol-1, as well as allyl alcohol. Stabilizing additive in the gel-polyelectrolyte mixture is a cellulose-zeolite aqueous suspension of ellipse (K2Ca) [AlSi4O12]×4.5H2O. All operations are performed in a single electrocoagulation reactor.
EFFECT: elimination of pollutants in a wide range of nature of deposited particles, elimination of the need for regular periodic loading of coagulant, sorbents and other reactants, considerable reduction of cleaning time at maintaining flow rate of passing fluid.
