FIELD: optical instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical instrumentation and concerns a method for multispectral high-speed acquisition of spatial images. In the implementation of the method, quasi-continuous femtosecond laser radiation is generated on a central wavelength in the range of 1.3-2.0 mcm with a pulse repetition frequency of 0.1-5 MHz, it is optically rectified in a non-linear-optic organic crystal in conditions of phase synchronism to obtain a beam of broadband terahertz radiation in the range of electromagnetic radiation frequencies of 0.1-10 THz and average power of 100 mW and spatial resolution of a wavelength order of used terahertz radiation of 90-900 mcm. The resulting terahertz beam scans a sample in a reflection or transmittance mode, the formed terahertz beam is registered using a ruler or a matrix of microdetectors, and the resulting image is processed in a real time mode.
EFFECT: increase in power of a terahertz radiation generator, and provision of imaging in a real time mode.
