FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in making harrow discs. Before the workpiece is separated from the strip, an annular section of the disc cutting edge is formed. Formation of annular section of cutting edge of disc and separation of workpiece from strip are performed successively by double-sided pressing into annular section of cutting edge of disc of wedge ribs of contact surfaces of clamping and matrix adjacent to cutting edge of disc. At that radial drawing of annular section of disc cutting edge is provided by deforming puncheon and simultaneous molding of disc sphere. Outer surfaces of wedge ribs and matrix are installed perpendicular to workpiece surfaces. Inner annular surfaces of wedge ribs are installed at an angle to workpiece surfaces equal to sharpening angle of disc cutting edge. At that, limiting value of tensile stresses in surface of workpiece separation from strip is achieved.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of harrows disks making.
