FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to cultivation of grape snails (Helix pomatia L.) in artificial conditions. Method includes a nature-balanced diet consisting of vegetables: cucumbers (Cucumis sativus L.) – 25 %, courgette (Cucurbita pepo subsp. pepo) – 50 %, and cabbages (Brassica oleracea L.) – 25 %, fodder is given once per day by 1.5–2.0 g per one snail.
EFFECT: proposed method of grape snails feeding allows snails to remain active and gain weight, completely neutralizing such unfavorable conditions, as temperature of ambient air exceeding 24 °C, and relative air humidity not exceeding 60 %.
