FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dietetics, and can be used for weight reduction. Method of weight reduction is characterized by division of dietary period into three stages. First, second and third stages are characterized by implementation of three main meals and two snacks a day with intervals between meals of 1.5-2.5 hours. A time interval is observed between the consumption of liquid and the food intake, wherein 1-1.5 hours after the main meal, a hot beverage is consumed without adding milk and sugar, 30 minutes before meals, water at room temperature is consumed; the last meal is carried out 2-3 hours before bedtime without further fluid intake. During the first stage, consumption of fruit with medium and high content of sugar and meat with medium and high content of fat is excluded. During the second stage one includes fruit with medium sugar content and meat with medium fat content into the ration. During the third stage one introduces into the diet the consumption of fruits with high sugar content and meat with high fat content.
EFFECT: higher efficacy and safety of weight reduction, in particular, due to preservation of the result and elimination of negative consequences for health due to the possibility of reaching the usual diet with respect to the amount of consumed proteins, fats and carbohydrates, with preservation of a reduced stomach volume.
