FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes exposure by physical factor, and cultivation of grapevine snails is carried out stepwise: on the first stage, maintenance of breeding flock is performed in controlled conditions, in a greenhouse till the end of November at 18-26°C and 65-90% of humidity. On the second stage, the stage of mollusks wintering, temperature in the greenhouse is decreased to subfreezing temperature, from 0 to -5°C from the beginning and till the middle of December. On the third stage, the stage of wintering end of snails, breeding of seed stock, getting of egg-layings, their incubation and maintenance of newborn snails within 6-8 weeks. Temperature in the greenhouses is increased to 18-26°C, vessels with egg-layings are placed in the heated boxes with permanent temperature 22-24°C for two-three weeks for incubation. The vessels with hatched snails are placed in the greenhouse on shelves and kept there during 6-8 weeks, thereafter on the forth stage growing young snails are moved to cages in the open air.
EFFECT: industrial-scale production of grapevine snails of market size in the temperate zone at expenses decrease for maintenance of mollusks.
