FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: air balloon (10) extending mainly in axial direction from hole (14) at the first end. Balloon comprises elastomer film (11) having a first thickness and a plurality of intersecting ribs (12) of a second greater thickness formed on the film. Ribs are inclined relative to axis (13) of air balloon and any axis perpendicular to it. Ribs can contain multiple spirals. There are also disclosed a molding device for making such a balloon and a method of using such a mold for making such a balloon.
EFFECT: such air balloon has increased resistance to rupture and can be made using traditional dipping technologies without violating film integrity.
