SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to medical diagnostic means implemented using computers. Method of ranking cases of patients in accordance with levels of complexity of diagnosis involves: retrieval of patient's visualizing examination from database, establishment of pathology on image, analysis of demographic and clinical data, calculating a computer stratification index for each case of the disease depending on the established pathology and demographic and clinical data and issuing a ranked list of patient's cases according to corresponding stratification assessments assigned to each case, storing previously diagnosed cases of diseases in a database, assessing the accuracy of a previously established diagnosis, performing a classifier which generates an accuracy index indicating the accuracy of the diagnosis, receiving information on the type of each case and generating a stratification index. Method is realized using a system comprising a computer stratification module and a processor. System also contains a machine-readable medium which stores the commands executed by the system described in the method.

EFFECT: using the group of inventions makes it possible to facilitate stratification of cases of patients diseases in accordance with potential levels of complexity of the diagnosis.
