FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: medical imaging system contains a processor for medical imaging system control, memory. Execution of instructions causes the processor to receive image data that contains a plurality of cervical images, select a diagnostic image from the image data, identify each of at least two image sequences, and select a diagnostic image from each of at least two image sequences. At least one diagnostic image contains two image sequences, one of the following: purification sequence, green filter sequence, acetic-white acid sequence, iodine sequence, sequence for detailed regions, and combinations thereof.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows to increase accuracy and sensitivity of malignant tumour detection.
