SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a hair treatment device (1) comprising two rods configured to embrace hair to be treated, wherein at least one of the rods is configured to accommodate a removable cartridge with the hair treatment product, wherein the device comprises an electronic control circuit with electronic memory, wherein said circuit is configured to detect closing of rods and installation of replaceable cartridge, wherein device comprises steam generator for steam supply to hair and at least one heated smoothen plate, wherein the device is configured to increase variable (ILS_nbr) in memory during use of said device after replacement of replaceable cartridge and transition to low intensity of operation, in which operation of steam generator and/or smoothing plate changes when said variable exceeds first predetermined threshold.
EFFECT: hair treatment device is proposed.
