FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. In various embodiments, a wireless computing device for monitoring a subject may comprise: processor; one or more sensors operatively coupled to a processor; and one or more radio antennas functionally connected to processor. Processor can be configured to switch wireless computing device between at least inactive state and active state, and receiving one or more data points associated with the context of the subject from the remote computing device through said one or more radio antenna when the wireless computing device is in an inactive state, by signalling at the control level. It is then possible to obtain one or more sensor signals from said one or more sensors. It is also possible to generate requested one or more data points based on said one or more sensor signals and to output these data points to a wireless computing device through said one or more radio antennas.
EFFECT: enabling communication with wireless computing devices used for monitoring of subjects of interest at any time without discharging their batteries.
