FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna-feeder devices, mainly to broadband "antenna-fairing" systems. Broadband "antenna-fairing" system has a direction-finding antenna and a fairing with a wall from dielectric material equipped with a unit for attachment to an aircraft. At that, the fairing is made in the form of a cylinder with a hemispherical vertex and has wall thickness in the transition zone from the cylinder to the hemispherical vertex, determined by the formula where c is speed of light, f is measurement frequency, ε is the dielectric constant of the wall material, wherein the thickness of the wall of the hemispherical tip of the fairing is uniformly increased from the transition zone to the fairing axis from h to 1.3⋅h, and the cylindrical part wall thickness of the fairing uniformly increases to the base from h to 2.6⋅h.
EFFECT: improved radio-technical characteristics compared to known designs of fairings.
