FIELD: rocket equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aircraft and rocket equipment, mainly to designs of antenna fairings with radiotransparent covers for "air-to-air" and "air-to-ground" rockets. Antenna fairing including single-layer cone-shaped shell and erosion-resistant tip made of dielectric material interconnected by glue joint, a metal ring rigidly attached to the conical shell, characterized in that the shell and the toe are made of heat-resistant porous fiberglass with a dielectric permeability of 3.2÷4.2, tip is connected with shell butt-end with lapping, forming cross-section along fairing axis of z-shape profile, with preservation of thickness of shell wall resonant-multiple half-wave in connection area, high-heat-resistant hard adhesive based on organosilicon binder is used as adhesive, and moisture-proof coating is applied on external and internal surfaces of the shell. Antenna fairing including single-layer cone-shaped shell and erosion-resistant tip made of dielectric material interconnected by glue joint, a metal ring rigidly attached to the conical shell, characterized in that the shell and the tip are made of heat-resistant porous fiberglass with a dielectric permeability of 3.2÷4.2, tip is connected with butt shell, in area of connection from inside there installed is pad made of material similar to that of shell or tip and glued along contact surfaces by glue, pad wall thickness is (0.03÷0.06)⋅λ, height 1.5⋅λ, and wall of fairing shell in its nose at a distance of not less than one third of height from tip is equal to thickness and is not more than 0.1⋅λ, where λ – wave length for upper frequency of three-centimeter working range with due allowance for shell material dielectric permeability at average angle of wave incidence on fairing surface, in addition, at a distance of not less than one-third of the height from the tip, the thickness of the wall of the shell increases smoothly in 2÷3.5 times in radio engineering zone, increasing up to 5.5 times in shell attachment zone with metal ring, high-heat-resistant hard adhesive based on organosilicon binder is used as glue, and moisture-proof coating is applied on external and internal surfaces of the shell. Ground and flight tests are used to prove the efficiency of the complex with versions of antenna fairings with shells assembled into a single structure of surface elements of different curvature, wherein each of them has electric wall thickness, optimum by radio engineering characteristics for a given wavelength range, and the wall electric thickness depending on the wavelength and the width of the range can be equally-thick, many-fold to the half-wave, and a non-uniform thin wall with minimum thickness values determined by the complex of operational loads.

EFFECT: design of an antenna fairing with a multi-contour surface with maximum uniformity, which enables to use different types of homing heads in an antenna and fairing, both in a narrow and a wide range of wavelengths, operable at high heat-power actions.
