FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for hidden marking of digital television signal data stream (embedding digital "watermarks" (DWM)). Disclosed is a method for hidden marking of a digital television signal data stream, comprising forming a set of macroblocks for replacement; recording macroblocks formed for replacement into memory; receiving a digital broadcast television data traffic stream; recording a portion of the transport stream into memory; packetized elementary stream (PES) is found in the recorded part of the transport stream; PES is processed by performing the following actions: (A) searching for a PES header; determining the beginning of the PES; presence of B-pseudo-frames in the composition of the PES structure, based on network abstraction layer structure data; if no B-pseudo-frames are found, then proceed to step (A); (B) decoding the next B-pseudo-frame on the slices; determining suitability of next slice for processing, performing following actions: decoding slices for macroblocks; determining for next macroblock the following conditions: macroblock is not support for other macroblocks in other slices and/or frames; macroblock does not contain motion vectors; if conditions are satisfied, then found macroblock is marked; if the next B-pseudo-frame last of the found ones, then proceed to step (A); if no suitable macroblock is found, then proceed to step (B); writing a slice containing the found macroblock into memory; selecting from a pre-formed macroblocks a suitable macroblock for replacing the found macroblock; storing a suitable macroblock in memory instead of the found macroblock; recovering the original B-pseudo-frame comprising the replaced macroblock; calculating checksum of modified B-pseudo-frame; inserting the checksum into the transport stream to a higher level than the one where the macroblock was replaced; inserting the modified B-pseudo-frame into the PES; inserting the PES from memory into the recorded part of the transport stream; transmitting a portion of the transport stream from memory to the TV signal propagation network.

EFFECT: improved integrity of transmitted content, high stealthiness of DWM, simple process of inserting DWM.
