FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cooling apparatus for air conditioning in a switching cabinet. It is achieved by the fact that cooling device (1) has internal circuit (2) through which cooled air (103) is removed from internal space (101) of switching cabinet, and air circuit (3) air-separated from internal circuit (2), through which ambient air (104) is directed, wherein inner contour (2) and outer contour (3) are airtight separated from each other by means of separating element (6). Inverter (7), by means of which pump (19) of cooling device (1) is controlled, has on heat exchanger (10) for heat waste exchanger (10) exchange with surrounding heat exchanger (10) on first (8) of two opposite sides (8, 9), and on second of two opposite sides (8, 9) has electronic unit (11) with several elements (12) of electronic circuit. Heat exchanger (10) of first side (8) of inverter (7) is located in external circuit (3), and at least electronic unit (11) of second side (9) of inverter (7) is located in internal circuit (2).

EFFECT: technical result is a simple design improvement of the cooling apparatus, on the one hand, providing protection of the inverter electronic unit from moisture without the need to encapsulate the electronic unit of the inverter, and on other side, allowing to avoid excessive reduction of efficiency of cooling device.
