FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electrical engineering, in particular to areas of automated electric drive (ED) and conversion equipment with forced ventilation system. Sealed housing of frequency converter (FC) along length is divided into two compartments, one of which is sealed with internal cooling circuit, which includes separate modules. Between the modules within the air channel there is a control unit enclosed in a separate body of trapezoidal shape. Along the perimeter of the modules there are ventilation channels with air drying system elements installed in them. Each of modules is equipped with at least two pairs of air-to-air heat exchangers installed in blown air channels arranged within unsealed compartment to form external cooling circuit. Each pair of heat exchangers includes at least one fan, wherein fan of the first pair of heat exchangers is connected to external cooling circuit, and fan of the second pair of heat exchangers is included into internal circuit and installed in sealed air channel between heat exchangers.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of air cooling.
