FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used in predicting an unfavorable outcome for six months in patients suffering ischemic heart disease (IHD) who underwent aortocoronary bypass surgery (AOBS). That is ensured by blood sampling for patients with ischemic heart disease on the first day of admission to hospital, before IHD surgery, from the ulnar vein. Thrombodynamics is used to determine clot growth rate in mcm/min and calculating prognostic coefficient K by original calculation formula. At value K≥0.29, high risk of developing a negative cardiovascular event is predicted in 6 months of observing aortocoronary bypass surgery. If K<0.29, the risk of a negative cardiovascular event is low.

EFFECT: method provides a timely preoperative assessment of the risk of a possible adverse outcome following AOBS with subsequent selection of an individual plan for correction of hemostasis system disorders.
