Disclosed is a method of decoding pictures using a decoding device, the method comprising: receiving prediction mode information; determining an intra prediction mode for a current picture block based on prediction mode information; when the predetermined internal prediction mode for the current block is a horizontal prediction mode, outputting the prediction selection of the current block based on the first reference sample located along with the horizontal prediction direction with respect to the prediction sampling location, wherein the first reference sample is located on the left side of the left boundary of the current block, and filtering the prediction sample based on the second reference sample, when prediction sampling is adjacent to upper boundary of current block, wherein second reference sample is located on upper side of upper boundary of current block; and decoding a picture by generating a reconstructed sampling of the current block based on the filtered selection of the prediction of the current block.
