SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for processing audio data. Technical result is achieved due to vector dequantisation relative vector-quantised spatial component using selected one of plurality of code books to obtain vector-dextanted spatial component of sound field, wherein each of plurality of codebooks indicates values of weight coefficients, each of which corresponds to corresponding one of plurality of weight coefficients in weighted sum of code vectors used when performing vector dequantification, and weighted sum of code vectors is encoded with k +1 indices, which indicate k +1 code vectors, by one index, which indicates k quantized weight coefficients in selected codebook, and k + 1 values of number signs.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase of bit transfer speed for HOA-audio signals coding at decomposition of V-vector into weighted sum of code vectors.
