FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry, in particular, to impregnation of wood with pre-drying. Wood is heated to bulk volume temperature 80–100 °C and immersed in impregnation liquid. Prior to immersion, partial drying of wood is performed with loss of 5–20 % of moisture contained in wood before drying. At that time interval after completion of incomplete drying and immersion into impregnating liquid ranges from 1 to 60 s, and duration of impregnation makes 10 to 60 minutes.
EFFECT: simplified process of wood impregnation.
