SUBSTANCE: invention relates to epoxy compositions and can be used for making large-size articles and articles of complex shape, including tooling from polymer composite materials (PCM), by vacuum infusion and can be used in aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding and other industries. Epoxy binder for making large-size composite articles, including tooling, from polymer composite materials by vacuum infusion, containing a mixture of two epoxy resins and cycloaliphatic hardener. First resin in the mixture is an epoxy aniline resin, the second resin is a resin selected from a group comprising epoxy paraamino-phenol and epoxy-aminophenol resins. Cycloaliphatic hardener is a hardener selected from group comprising 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylamine, 1,2-diaminocyclohexane, 4,4'-diaminodicyclohexylmethane, 2,2'-dimethyl-4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexylamine). Said components are contained in the following ratio, pts.wt: mixture of two epoxy resins – 100, cycloaliphatic hardener – 57–63. Content of first resin in said mixture of two epoxy resins is 5–25 pts.wt, and content of second resin – 75–95 pts.wt.

EFFECT: invention enables to create a binder for producing large-size articles, including composite equipment, by vacuum infusion with a high complex of properties.
