FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a depressor additive in situ in process of pipeline transport of high-paraffin oil. Method of producing a depressant additive in situ involves feeding an anti-turbulent additive (ATA) in the form of a solution in a hydrocarbon solvent through a dosing device into the pumped oil stream. After that oil is pumped through the pump unit for the purpose of ATA destruction. Anti-turbulence additive used is a (co)polymer of a high(meth)acrylate of general formula:

where R1 - hydrogen or methyl, R2 hydrocarbon group having from 4 to 30 carbon atoms. Molecular weight (co) of polymer is not less than 4⋅106.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce oil hydraulic resistance and to lower the pour point of oil during its transportation.
