SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical and food industry, namely to an agent for inhibiting the formation of cell triglycerides in a subject. Composition for inhibiting the formation of cell triglycerides in a subject, comprising a mixture of extracts comprising a water-ethanol extract of whole grapes and, at least, one of water-ethanol extract of leaves and stems of hanibush and water extract of grape kernels in amount required for synergetic inhibition of cell triglycerides formation. Food product or beverage to reduce formation of cell triglycerides in a subject. Product for controlling weight. A method of treating, preventing or controlling an individual's weight gain. A method for reducing absorption, transport, sedimentation, production and secretion of fat in a subject. Method of facilitating body weight loss in a subject. A method for maintaining body weight of a subject. A method for treating, preventing or controlling skin conditions or diseases associated with skin fat production in a subject. Method of synergistic inhibition of diacylglycerol acyltransferase-1 (DGAT-I) in a subject.
EFFECT: agents described above are effective for inhibiting the formation of cell triglycerides in a subject, for synergistic inhibition of diacylglycerol acyltransferase-1 (DGAT-I) in a subject.
