FIELD: machine building; technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plant for producing biofuel from natural sources of raw materials. Plant for production of biofuel is characterized by that it contains a chamber for preliminary treatment of initial raw material with a mixer installed in it and a source of light radiation and with lines for water supply and biomass of algae (raw material), a container with water, a hydrothermal liquefaction unit. Hydrothermal liquefaction unit consists of two reactors filled with heterogeneous catalyst and operating in turn in hydrothermal liquefaction mode and in regeneration mode of catalyst, has reactor heating assembly made up of burners installed in reactor cavities. Installation has a biofuel collection and separation unit with a cooling unit in the form of a coil, wherein the outlets of the water tank and the raw material pre-treatment chambers through the controlled valves are connected to the high pressure pump, output of which is connected by means of bypass line with installed on it controlled valve to chamber of initial processing of initial raw material and to one of coil ends, other end of which is connected through controlled valves to inputs of reactors with formation of closed circulation circuit of obtained product of initial raw material treatment, lower outputs of reactors through controlled valves are connected to inlet of biofuel collection and separation unit and to combustion products discharge line, and the gaseous products outlet line from the biofuel collection and separation unit together with the fuel and air supply lines is connected to the burners supply line, on which the burners controlled valves are installed, which are connected to the switching element, which alternately switches on and off the burners.

EFFECT: high output of biofuel, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness of production.
