MODULAR METHOD OF PROCESSING CRUDE OIL Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C10G7/00 C10G45/00 C10G47/00 C10G65/14 C10G70/04

Abstract RU 2689398 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a crude oil stream processing method, which involves fractionation of crude oil stream in a crude oil column, in order to obtain an upper distillate stream in an overhead line and a stripped rough stream in a bottom product line at a cut-off point between 288 and 371 °C (550 and 700 °F); cooling the upper distillate stream and condensing the upper distillate stream to obtain a total distillate stream and an upper gaseous stream; and heat exchange of stripped rough stream with crude oil stream; where all raw material supplied to the column during fractionation comes through the overhead line or bottom product line. Modular distillation column provides method and device for distillation and processing of crude oil. Crude oil can be heated and then separated in distillation column of crude oil into only two liquid products. Separation between light and heavy products can be controlled by flow rate of the distillate product. Heat from the distillate stream and the stream of the bottom product is extracted by preliminary heating of incoming stream of crude oil by means of heat exchange with the overhead stream and bottom stream. In the embodiment, the distillate fraction in the range of diesel fuel can be condensed from the overhead stream in the first heat exchanger and the naphtha fraction can condense in the second heat exchanger from the gaseous stream which is not condensed in the first heat exchanger.

EFFECT: modular method of processing crude oil is proposed.
