FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method of converting crude oil containing sulphur and metals, characterized in that the method involves separation of such stream into streams based on sulphur content, treatment of at least one liquid portion of said separate streams for removing sulphur, wherein other portions remain uncleaned, and then recombination of a larger portion of the volumes of all purified and unrefined liquid streams to form a liquid fuel having an actual sulphur content corresponding to the target sulphur content or below it, said method comprising: (a) separating said crude oil, by means of (2) at least one distillation (100, 200), and steps of solvent separation (300), to light upper refinery gases (4), oil-enriched oil residue (90), insoluble in at least one solvent used for said solvent separation, gases containing sulphur (420), and liquid fractions having sulphur content higher than point fracture (20, 40), and liquid fractions having sulphur content at break point or below it (10), (b) cleaning, by means of at least one hydrotreating step, liquid fractions having sulphur content higher than fracture point (20, 40) but not liquid fractions having sulphur content at fracture point or below it (10), or insoluble oil residue (90) to form at least one hydrotreated stream (60, 70), having reduced content of sulphur, and (c) combining said hydrotreated streams (60, 70) with liquid fractions having sulphur content at fracture point or below it (10) to obtain said fuel (600). Fuel produced by said method and its use are also described. Besides, the invention discloses a method of integrating atmospheric and vacuum distillation, solvent separation and hydrofining for producing fuel, fuel obtained using said method and use thereof.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining fuel with low content of sulphur.
