FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preparation of fuel with low content of sulfur, obtained from hydrocarbon sources, such as light oil of low-permeability headers and furnace oil with high content of sulfur, containing supply of at least one furnace oil with high content of sulfur to zone of hydroconversion of oil residues and contacting such oil with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst in conditions of hydroconversion of oil residues in a fluidized bed reactor to form a stream leaving the reactor zone, which is separated into hydroconverted liquids and purging gases containing hydrogen and sulfur, unconverted oils which are fed to solvent separation to form (A) a soluble deasphalted oil which is recycled when fed into said hydroconversion zone, either separately or together with added furnace oil with high sulfur content, which is fed into said reactor, and (B) insoluble asphalt, which is directed to asphalt purification, and combining all or at least one portion of light oil of low-permeability headers with said hydroconverted liquids to form fuel. Invention covers also fuel and its application. Such fuel is used onboard large marine transport vessels, as well as on land with large ground turbines operating on gas combustion products, boilers, fire furnaces, vehicles and trains.
EFFECT: low content of sulfur, but also low content of nitrogen and fuels essentially do not contain metals.
