FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication systems. Set of reference CSI subframes may be measured for several frequencies when frequency hop occurs. Wireless communication method comprises steps of receiving information associated with a number of reference subframes of channel state information (CSI) to be used when performing CSI measurements in narrowband communication; tracking subframes on at least two frequency channels; performing a CSI measurement for said at least two frequency channels based on information associated with said number of reference CSI subframes, wherein performing the CSI measurement comprises steps of determining a first set of reference CSI subframes on a first frequency channel of said at least two frequency channels; determining a second set of reference CSI subframes at a second frequency channel from said at least two frequency channels; CSI measurement is performed for said at least two frequency channels based on a first set of reference CSI subframes and a second set of reference CSI subframes.

EFFECT: possibility of specifying for UE set of reference CSI subframes which can be used during CSI measurement.
