SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used at gas distribution stations (GDS). At the point of natural gas supply from the main line to the gas distribution network booster-compressor with gas drive and distribution device is installed. Natural gas is supplied to booster-compressor from the mains and this gas is used simultaneously as drive and compressed gases. In the process of booster compressor operation compressed natural gas is produced and, at the same time, spent natural gas from booster-compressor drive is supplied to consumers in gas-distributing network. Two-flow heat exchange apparatus is connected to the booster-compressor distributor input. Natural gas flow is directed to a double-flow heat exchanger, in which this stream is heated before supply to the distributing device and gas drive of the booster compressor due to heat recovery of adiabatic compression of the natural gas compressed in the booster-compressor.
EFFECT: higher reliability of booster compressor operation.
