SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the gas industry, namely, to the compression of natural gas at gas distribution stations (GDS). System contains a booster compressor, an expander, an air-cooling unit and a heat exchanger. Booster compressor input is connected to the main gas pipeline and natural gas is sent by two streams to the booster compressor for compression and to ensure the operation of its drive. At two outputs of the booster compressor, the natural gas production lines are formed, first of which produces compressed natural gas through an air-cooling unit and a heat exchanger for supply to liquefied natural gas production systems. At the same time, along the second line, the natural gas spent in the booster-compressor drive is sent through the expander and the heat exchanger of the first line to the consumers in the gas distribution network.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the production efficiency of compressed natural gas.
