FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer heat-insulating materials and can be used in fire barriers, such as sliding screen curtain walls. Fire-resistant aggregate contains two layers of basalt fiber 1, wherein each of said layers is coated on one side with foil 2. Layers of basalt fiber 1 are glued to each other with non-foil sides over the entire thickness using a layer of adhesive composition 3. Adhesive composition 3 contains liquid alkali metal silicate 65–69 % and mineral powder containing mica 2–8 % and serpentinite 22–30 %. Fire-resistant filler is fixed in metal frame 4.
EFFECT: fire-resistant filler allows fire barriers screen curtain walls in which it is used to have fire resistance limit of not less than 150 minutes, and also expands range of fire-resistant aggregates used in fire barriers.
