FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials for polarization optical devices. Dichroic material is fluoroborate with "anti-zeolite" structure with general formula ; at x = 0, y = (0÷0.1) in form of frame [Ba12(BO3)6]6+, folded by alternating layers (ABAB) along direction of crystallographic axis Z, containing variable amounts and type of guest anion groups formed in quaternary system Ba6(BO3)4-Va6(BO3)3.6F1.2 - NaBa12(BO3)7F4- LiBa12(BO3)7F4, wherein A-layers of "anti-zeolitic" structure include guest (BO3)3- and (F2)2- groups, B-layers include guest anion groups (BO3)3 and are optically-active, in which static and dynamic disordering of guest anion groups occurs.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of new dichroic material, the structure of which contains optically active layers with variable types and number of structural anion groups.
