CRYSTALLINE MATERIAL FOR RECORDING X-RAY RADIATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC C30B9/04 C30B9/12 C30B28/02 C30B29/12 C09K11/08 C09K11/61 C09K11/63 C09K11/77

Abstract RU 2630511 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of producing a crystalline material that is a solid solution of the general formula Ba4-xSr3+x(BO3)4-yF2+3y, where 0≤x≤1 and 0≤y≤0.5 suitable for recording X-ray radiation. Crystalline material Ba4-xSr3+x(BO3)4-yF2+3y has colour centres formed under the influence of X-rays - stable hole centres [(BO3)O]4-, stable at room temperature for, at least, three months, causing absorption in the visible region of the spectrum and changing the colour of the crystals to dark violet and relaxation after irradiation with an intense light source with the wavelength of 300-400 nm.

EFFECT: low hygroscopicity, can be synthesized in air in the absence of highly toxic elements.
