FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, namely, to rotary internal combustion engines. Engine consists of rotor, stator, end plates and two shafts passing through them, resting on bearings in engine housing. Rotor has slots perpendicular to each other. Shafts passing through said slots have flat faces. Rotor rotates shafts with its slots. Rotor divides the volume in the stator into two chambers: "intake-pressure" and "compression-stroke". Volume of the chambers varies as the rotor rotates due to displacement of the shafts relative to each other. In the "inlet-delivery" chamber there are processes of inlet, compression and blowdown of the "compression-working stroke" chamber. Processes of blowing of exhaust gases, its filling with fresh mixture, compression and working stroke are performed in the chamber of "compression-working stroke". Thus, one working stroke is performed per rotor revolution.
EFFECT: technical result is the design simplification.
