FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to dietary feeding of a honey bee, and can be used in beekeeping for optimization of protein nutrition of useful insects in critical periods of bee families development, as well as for preventing and treating protein dystrophy. Composition of the dietary fodder mixture for honey bees contains honey or inverted sugar syrup, a protein component and sugar powder. As a protein component, the fodder mixture contains a biomass of larvas of large fungal cast (Galleria mellonella L.), and also includes citric acid. Fodder mixture is characterized by the following ratio of components, wt. %: biomass of larvae of large fungal firing 2–10, honey or inverted sugar syrup 15–18, citric acid 0.03–0.05, powdered sugar is the rest.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve development of honey colonies and enhance honey yield.
