FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to sanitary-hygienic means, and concerns absorbing litter used in keeping animals and birds, as well as used for care of domestic animals. Zootechnic litter material is a loose carpet with filler. Filler is wood chips with thickness of 0.1–0.6 mm. Chips are bent in direction across fibers with deflection bend of at least 1 mm. Filler is characterized by humidity parameters of 3–20 %. Dust particles of material with size of up to 1 mm make not more than 10 % of total filler composition. Filler is shavings of coniferous and/or hardwoods.
