SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture. Device for storage of grain in controlled gas medium comprises container, bottom of which has tapered side walls made of soft material, with lower branch pipe with gate, at that, the container is made in the form of a cylinder, from above is provided with a cover with warm air inlet connection pipes from the dehumidifier and fresh atmospheric air inlet with the gold valves with solenoid valves, in the cover there is a loading upper hole covered by an additional cover with a vacuum meter, the slide valves are connected to the computer, which is also connected to the temperature and humidity meter installed inside the container, and the gas analyser-signalling device, which through the hole in the container wall through the intake tube performs air content sampling, as well as computer is connected to vacuum valve and electric motor of vacuum pump through time relay to create vacuum in container. Method of grain storage in controlled gas medium using above described device includes loading of dried grains, creation of vacuum, air intake for determination of temperature and humidity and transfer of indicators to computer, wherein, with the help of slide valves with solenoid valves, the air inlet is performed with the help of the vacuum slide valve, and vacuum is created.

EFFECT: invention reduces the risk of moisture condensate formation.
