Packaged nicotine solution comprises (a) a container and (b) a nicotine solution containing (I) a carrier, (II) unprotonated nicotine and a protonated form and (III) benzoic acid. Electronic vapor production system includes an evaporator for evaporating a liquid intended to be inhaled by a user of an electronic vapor production system; a power supply comprising an element or a power supply battery for supplying power to the evaporator, a nicotine solution containing (I) a carrier, (II) a unprotonated nicotine and a protonated form, and (III) benzoic acid.
