FIELD: heat insulation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of heat insulation, in particular, railway vehicles. Heat-insulating element (10) for heat insulation of rail vehicle inner space is at least partially made of material with closed pores and comprises on its outer surface (16a, 16b, 16c) compensation seams (12a, 12b, 14a, 14b), arranged in the form of a mesh on the first outer surface (16a) and on the opposite second outer surface (16b) of insulating element (10). System of several heat-insulating elements contains the said heat-insulating elements (10) cut out according to geometry of internal space of rail vehicle and marked in accordance with the installation plan. Method of mounting heat-insulating element on inner surface of rail vehicle includes providing heat-insulating element (10) and fixing it on inner surface of rail vehicle. Invention improves properties and provides constant and stable insulating capacity of heat insulation.
