SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine, a method and a computer-readable data medium for applying rules from an inspection network to data signals from a source network. Rules engine comprises a processor associated with a memory device, wherein the rules engine is connected to the verification network, wherein the rules engine is configured to receive the clearing data signal from the source network, wherein the clearing data signal includes the clearing data for at least one transaction that has been processed by the source network, wherein the source network and the verification network are payment networks, generate a clearing response data signal which includes clearing response data by comparing the clearing data with the set of predetermined rules stored in the memory device, wherein the clearing response data indicate that the checking network will not guarantee settlement of at least one transaction included in the clearing data and transmit the data of the clearing response data to the source network.

EFFECT: technical result consists in automation of transaction data processing.
