FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to anti-caking additives and methods for production thereof and can be used in production of mineral fertilizers, fire-extinguishing powders and other mineral powder systems prone to caking. Hydrophobizating mineral powder with anti-caking effect includes metakaolin and a modifying additive - a mixture based on organosiloxanes in amount of 1.5–2.5 wt. %, and has granulometric composition: fr. <39 mcm not less than 90 %, fr. <14 mcm not less than 50 %, fr. <4 mcm not less than 10 %. Method of producing said hydrophobisable mineral powder involves co-milling metakaolin with an organosiloxane-based mixture in a centrifugal impact grinding mill to the above granulometric composition.

EFFECT: technical result is slowdown of processes of absorption by powder of liquid-liquid and gaseous moisture, high fluidity, improved anti-caking properties and longer storage life of powder.
