FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of filler materials for arc welding of high-strength (α+β) and pseudo-β-titanium alloys in medium of inert gases, intended for use as structural high-strength high-tech material. Welding wire contains, wt%: aluminum 3.0–4.0; vanadium 0.2–1.2; molybdenum 0.2–1.2; zirconium 1.0–2.0; chromium 0.2–1.2; niobium 0.2–1.2; oxygen – not more than 0.12; carbon – not more than 0.03; nitrogen – not more than 0.03; hydrogen – not more than 0.003; titanium – the rest.
EFFECT: welding wire enables to obtain welded joints with high strength characteristics (up to 1010 MPa) while maintaining plasticity characteristics.
