FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat exchange equipment used in various industries, in particular to coil heat exchangers that can be used in emergency cooling systems of nuclear power plants. In a heat exchanger, comprising a cylindrical body with a central shell arranged concentrically with the body, forming an annular cavity with the body in which the heat exchange elements are located, each of which is made in the form of multiple coils with collectors for the supply and removal of coolant, made in the form of a torus and connected through tees to intermediate pipelines, which, in turn, are connected to water and steam manifolds located under the hull and above the hull, intermediate pipelines are connected to water and steam collectors through connecting pipes located in an arbitrary plane relative to the plane of the collectors. Connecting pipes can be equipped with tees, and the heat exchange elements are combined into groups with several steam and water collectors.
EFFECT: reducing the size of the heat exchanger by reducing the distance between the housing and the collectors.
