FIELD: nuclear power.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, specifically to passive heat removal systems of water-cooled power reactor through steam generator (SPOT PG), and is intended for cooling reactor by natural circulation of heat carrier in circuit of system. SPOT includes at least one heat carrier circulation circuit containing steam generator and sectional heat exchanger arranged above steam generator inside cooling water reserve tank and connected to steam generator by means of supply and discharge pipelines. Heat exchanger includes lower and upper headers connected heat exchange tubes, and at collecting pipeline are start valves of different cross-section. Heat exchanger is divided into sections arranged in parallel, based on condition L/D ≤ 20, where L is length of half sections (subsections); D is inner diameter of collector. Sections of supply and discharge pipelines of circulation circuit are composed of branched parallel pipelines.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in efficiency of heat removal, stability of heat carrier flow in circuit and as a result, reliability.
