FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to purification, separation and concentration of solutions by an electrodialysis technique. Application is possible in food, chemical, microbiological, textile and other industries. Electrodialyzer with cooling of the separated solution includes two pressure plates, inlet channels for supply of a separated solution (concentrate), a separated solution (diluate) and solutions for electrode washing, output channels for concentrate, diluate and electrodes washing solutions, packets of alternating membranes and spacers. Main difference lies in the fact that in the electrodialyzer there is uniform cooling of the separated solution (concentrate and diluent) before its exit from the electrodialyzer by means of twelve cooling tubes with running water inserted through the whole electrodialyzer structure.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of temperature of separated solution; reduced temperature load on ion-exchange membranes, increased turbulization of the separated solution.
