FIELD: electricity; various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to designs of electrodialyzers with ion-conducting filler used for separation, concentration and purification of low-mineralized solutions. Distinctive feature of the electro-ionite apparatus is that the desalting and concentration chambers are divided into the first and second chambers by the housing partition, and ion-exchange resin is placed in concentration chambers. Overflow channels are equipped with turbulence nozzles, and the covers of the apparatus have a shape with protrusions for sealing the ion-exchange resin; at that, the membrane holders are inserted into the slots and fixed by the covers.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and quality of separation of low-mineralized solution, provision of turbulence in chambers, reduced electric resistance of the apparatus and reduced concentration polarization, simple assembly and maintenance.
