FIELD: electrodialysis.

SUBSTANCE: purification, separation and concentration of solutions using the electrodialysis method. Application is possible in chemical, oil and gas, food, microbiological, textile and other industries. An electrodialyzer with improved turbulization and cooling of the separated solution, includes two housing plates with an anode and a cathode, input channels for supplying the separated solution (diluate), separated solution (concentrate) and near-electrode solution, output channels for removing the separated solution (diluate), separated solution (concentrate) and near-electrode solution, packages of alternating membranes and spacer pads. The electrodialyzer is distinguished by the fact that it has an increased thickness of the spacer pads, an increased total useful area of the membranes, a labyrinthine construction of the free space of the spacer gaskets for diluate and concentrate by placing two short and two long guide holders in them, cooling of the separated solution due to located in near-electrode spacer pads across the direction of assembly of the apparatus, four straight cooling tubes at a distance of 16 mm from each other and symmetrically relative to the horizontal midline of the spacer pad, two straight cooling tubes located in spacer pads for diluate and concentrate across the direction of assembly of the apparatus at a distance of 12 mm from each other and symmetrically relative to the horizontal center line of the spacer and two curved in the central part at an angle of 43-45° tubes (the upper one is curved upward, the lower one is curved downward), located at a distance of 8 mm from the straight tubes, a reduced thickness of the body plates with the location of inlet and outlet channels for supplying and discharging the separated solution on their end surface.

EFFECT: increasing the productivity of the electrodialyzer.
