CONCENTRATION CONTROL IN FILTRATION SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D61/02 B01D61/12 B01D61/14 B01D61/22 C12G3/08

Abstract RU 2690345 C2

FIELD: separation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to concentration control in filtration systems. Method for concentration of a minor component of the supplied liquid includes the following stages: setting the difference of hydraulic pressure throughout the filtration medium in the first filter receiving the supplied liquid, which contains the main component and the minor component, in order to obtain a first permeate enriched with the main component with respect to the liquid to be fed, and a first retentate enriched with a minor component with respect to the liquid supplied; setting the hydraulic pressure difference over the filtration medium in the second filter, receiving at least a portion of the first permeate, in order to obtain a second permeate enriched in the base component with respect to the first permeate, and second retentate, enriched with minor component with respect to first permeate; establishing a hydraulic pressure difference over the filtration medium in a third filter which receives at least a portion of the second retentate in order to obtain a third permeate enriched in the main component with respect to the second retentate, and a third retentate enriched with a minor component with respect to the second retentate; and reusing at least a portion of the third retentate on the retentate side of the first filter and mixing the third retentate portion with at least part of the supplied liquid, minor component is present in the third retentate with a weight ratio and the minor component is present in the supplied liquid with a weight ratio, and a lower weight fraction of the minor component in the third retentate and the weight ratio of the minor component in the supplied liquid is at least approximately 0.5 of the higher weight fraction of the minor component in the third retentate and the weight fraction of the minor component in the supplied liquid.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of filtration.
